PERSONALITY

Obie isn't one for pleasantries. A bit grumpy, he’s to-the-point and doesn’t mince words. Feeling as if he isn’t taken entirely seriously by those around him, he tends to be rather ill-tempered and even cynical towards those around him. Oberon is prone to jealousy, and has an incredibly competitive attitude. He’s constantly pushing himself to be better than those around him. Even at such a young age it seems he has something to prove. Any sort of rejection or lack of attention will always be taken incredibly personally, and Oberon will without a doubt internalize it. Desperate for constant approval, he pushes himself to be someone he isn’t and tends to overreact when reminded of any of his imperfections. Despite this, Oberon is far from bad. If anything, he's a bit of a grump that takes himself a bit too seriously. He’s still generally aware of those around him, and though he isn’t great at apologizing, he tends to try to make it up to people through actions. In fact, most of his affection is shown through his actions. He tends to gravitate toward and even cling to those he loves and trusts. Many things remain unspoken with Oberon, but that doesn’t mean he feels them any less.

Oberon was born to Vulcan and Remington, alongside his siblings, Ránalanén, Laurelin, and Gaia. "An early birthday present" to his father, his mother had said. From the start it was clear that Oberon was... Different. He was smaller than his siblings, scrawnier, more unsteady on his feet. Remi and Vulcan were worried about his health at first, but it seemed that his determination and spunk was pushing him to catch right up to his siblings. He adored the stories his parents told him and soon he was using it as a motivation of what he wanted to become. He did his best to become a bit of an adventurer, just like his parents. At least the best a young cub like him could be.
