Thank you!!
I seriously can't wait to get into the guys' backstories. We're both really proud of what we've mapped out for them.

Jesus Christ!
I just read through this in one sitting. Worst decision I ever made at 10:45 at night. I'm shivering in May fer chrissakes.
Good story, but AMPUTATE...?
Okay, I'll give you credit here Roman, you definitely know how to make a story emotional gripping (to say this the less insane way.)
Cautiously looking forward to the next page. Please don't make me throw up, I don't think my toilet would be able to wash away the sheer mass of vomit I'd produce if the next scene play out in a gorey way. Please...I beg of you....

In the creator commentary on the first episode of Lost, one of the guys talked about how in the first ten minutes or so, even though we're watching fifty people crawl out of the wreckage of a brutal plane crash, we don't see any blood. We didn't really need to - the people were screaming and crying, the plane was on fire, papers were flying in the air, etc. All of that was scary enough.
Then, after the main character we've been following who has spent the entire time dragging people to safety and organizing emergency rescue, steps off into the woods and shows that he's had a massive gaping wound on his belly the entire time. THAT is the first time we see blood, and by keeping it hidden during a scene where we would expect to see it and then showing it when we didn't, we are suddenly surprised.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that SE won't have gore - or even blood for that matter - when we are expecting it.

I can kinda recognise this, how she feels/handles it. A few years ago, I got a phonecall from my brother in law, telling me my sister was in the hospital. And in the past she had taken too many pills before, and I knew it was likely something like this again. So I was waiting for the metro and I was in a limbo, I had no idea what the status was. I was nervous, but also calm. And I remember buying a sandwich and thinking 'this is likely the last 'normal' sandwich that I'll eat. Soon, everything will be different.'
And then there is the moment in the hospital, when you tell who you are, and the receptionist points you to a room where two policemen are waiting. And they proceed to tell you that your sister is dead, overdose. And the reaction wasn't soapopera screaming and crying. It wad more like 'oh'. And my brain just comtinued to try to think logically: 'I should tell mom. But how do I tell her? And brother too. But should I do it over the phone? That doesn't seem right. I wonder if public transport would work to get to moms home?'
Tears didn't set in until an hour later.
So this comic, but also the ones leading up to it, I know the feels. The realisation that something big is coming, and wonder what you life will be like and how it will impact you. And The resigned and almost non-emotional reaction when the news hits you.

There could be dramatical cliff for volume, but bad if we consider "enginering"- there wasn't shown too much about it yet. More alike signals about robots, protese.
So good to know about another 2 chapters.

I had expected there is more of planned.
Just in descritpion you wrote about "end of volume 1", so I tryed to visueale how it could look in paper version if this current page was last one in volume 1. And how it would looks with those planned 2 chapters for volume 1

Here's the super special awesome thing: we're making it 100% clear from the promo art onward that Corelle gets prosthetic hands, so everyone is expecting it along the way.
What the readers are NOT expecting are all the world and character building tidbits that are being thrown all around this central conflict, so when the focus shifts to the REAL stories, you'll be prepared.

I'v found that simplicity is usually a better communication route than anything else. It's one of the reasons Tezuka was so effective.
