Description CRITICALLY ENDANGERED! During the Vietnam War millions of bombs were dropped in the Langur Douc’s forest home and huge swathes were defoliated with chemicals like Agent Orange, wiping out many plants and animals. Doucs were also used for target practice by soldiers and hunted for meat by subsistence hunters. Nobody knows how many Doucs survived, but it seems likely that their numbers have been devastated over big areas. They were previously observed in groups of 60 or more, now groups are rarely larger than 12.

Yeah - he does a bit. They are incredibly shy animals, so no doubt hate being in the zoo.

Hi Adni,

Too bad that is all I can say. I've had TOOOO many photos stolen and since I've been using the watermarks, they've been left alone. My images are mine, not anyone elses

The 99% of the great photographers and digital artists in DeviantArt, NEVER use this "ugly" watermark!
Do you think that they don't know that the people are using their works for a different purposes without their permission?

I really don't understand people that they share their works in places like DA and put watermarks on it, what they are trying to say?
I guess that with this action they say: "I am great, the best, but you CAN'T have my work! I will keep it in my computer and no one will enjoy it ever!".

I wonder why this kind of people bother to "share" their works???

Don't take it personally, it is just my opinion...

I don't mind sharing my work, but when other people put it up on their sites FOR SALE, and I don't get the profits or the mention, then I don't appreciate it.

That has happened to me, more times that I would like to know.

However, I will think about what you have said...

Cheers
Robyn

Still doesn't change my mind - I'm happy to share my work, but not at the expense of being ripped off by others trying to sell my work with no credit to me.

Cheers

I love the kinda sad feeling in this photo. The colours and the contrast between them look amazing. I like the expression on her face.

So many sad stories. We sometimes forget that animals suffer too when their country is at war. Thank you for sharing the information as well as the photo.

Yes - always. I have about 10 ready to go - but usually wait for 20. I dont seem to be able to find as many these days .

I have been away for a month though - so put one up before I went away - but only got back last monday. Unfortuately I'm jetlagged to hell and back, as wll has having a chest infection, so am sort of keeping low. Plus I have 4000 photos to process from RAW from my trip upover

Cheers
