Today's comic is brought to you by Scream of the Shalka the animated Doctor Who between Classic Who and New Who featuring an alternative ninth Doctor and a robot Master.

You know what the great thing is about having a live-in robot companion possessed by the spirit of your best enemy is?
Sex!Bots have no refractory period? No, okay well yes but I was thinking more along the lines of Robot!Butler.

Some cool things about Shalka!Master:
-The Doctor built him. Because find good companions is just so hard these days.
-He can't leave the TARDIS, thus he can't run away. Ha ha this Nine is evil.
-He can take his own face off ala Andriod Invasion. Always a great party trick.
-He was voiced by Derek Jacobi. Gee now why does that name sound familiar?

Other fun things, the Doctor is voiced by Richard E. Grant who played on the in incarnations of the Doctor in 'The Curse of Fatal Death' (Dalek Bumps!), Alison is voiced by Sophie Okonedo who played Liz 10, and David Tennant managed to sneak in there do.
It's a little known fact that the UK only has about a hundred actors and they just rotate, you just can't tell because they're such good actors. If the BBC ever need more then then that, they start pulling people from the parking lot. Which means if you have a dream of being in Coronation Street all you need to do is fill a satchel with play scripts and go hang out in their parking lot.
