Description
Another part of my submission to the Kembara art book (consisting the artworks of the talents involved in the Saladin project). Inspired by God of War game and the Beowulf trailer. The background was ganked somewhere off the internet since I had no idea what to do for background... I thought the symbol of immortality would fit it somehow (though the design was more Celtic than Greek T_T couldn't find good inspirations for the background). Maybe I will re-post next time with a better background---

Love the updated design, with the eastern Naga influence.
And that background with the snake-eating-tail thing which I recognize as distinctively Celtic or Eastern European, but cannot put my finger down on the name.
But I disgress!. Awesome!

As for the image, you're right that it was Celtic. I was aware that the Medusa came from Greek mythology but I was dismayed that there were no images regarding the culture nor the serpentine lady (I was nearing submission deadline and I suck at backgrounds). Thus, I borrowed the image from a site. It has a nice ring to it, since snakes are normally symbols of immortality
