Okay... The characters from Tamora Pierce's Winding Circle, Circle of Magic, Circle Opens -take your pick- Quartet books.

We have the four kids and their respective teachers:

Niklaren Goldeye
Trisana Chandler
Briar Moss
Dedicate Rosethorn
Dedicate Lark
Sandrilene fa Toren
Daja Kisubo
Dedicate Frostpine

I started this thing Friday [1/19] and finished today [1/21], and it came about after my looking up fan art of it on here while waiting for my mom to pick me up [curse you Artists out there who inspire me to try my hand at these characters!]

All in all, I'm pretty satisfied with these guys. Daja and Frostpine are the worst in my opinion and I believe it's because I drew them last, and hence was getting tire of it by then [but they were outline and colored third!] ... The order went for drawing them: Briar and Rosethorn [I am very proud of them!], Lark and Sandry, Niko and Tris, and Daja and Frostpine. Coloring went pretty much the same order but switch the last two around. I wasn't sure if I was going to do any shading to begin with but I ended up doing some and it turned out nice so I continued with it.

For their colors, I think I'm close to how they are described in the books. Niko's eyes were just described as being dark or black, Lark's eyes I didn't find so I made a guess, I didn't find if it ever stated what color Frostpine's hair is [I visualize it all white in my head but for this I decided to do black with white]

I *tried* to do a background, I really did, but gave up and just went with the cheaters route by using their Bumpy circle thing ... although it took me FOREVER to figure out how to place it.

There are probably a lot of mistakes in this, feel free to point them out, I however reserve the right to laugh, shake my head and walk away [and then come back later and see what you mean]. As after three days I'm very tired of looking at these eight!

Plus, doing these at home on my mom's computer I've come to realize how much I LOVE my tablet [which is at school hooked up to my computer] and HATE working by just mouse.
