Half my housemates are neatnicks and the other half are germaphobes (who leave dishes in the sink and then apparently won't touch them because they're germy). The germaphobe half probably won't appreciate your face in their sugar, and the neatnick half won't appreciate the sugar spilled all over the place from the viciously shaking bowl.
