Description NOTE!!!! I will soon be accepting commissions for skeletons of Pokemon, fakemon, misc. fantasy creatures and OCs! Check my profile soon for details!

I started on this one with an interesting goal--to cut down and perfect my skeleton-making process in such a way that I could finish them as quickly as possible, eschewing needless details that I used to spend too much time. This is why it is considerably less detailed and refined than the others--I was trying to keep things loose and sketchy without sacrificing too much quality. The scientific accuracy may also be a bit shaky, but overall I consider this a success because it took under FIVE HOURS(!!!) to do. That is amazing considering that all the others took days or weeks.

Notes:

- Figuring out how to make avian anatomy humanoid is bizarre. For starters, there was the pelvis, which I thankfully found a front view of a chicken's to use as reference, but modified for an upright posture.

- Unlike normal birds, Blaziken is plantigrade. The only joint shown in his leg is the knee, so he clearly walks on the whole foot, as opposed to normal birds, where the ankle joint is prominently visible halfway up the leg.

- The sternum is greatly reduced owing to the lack of flight muscles. The shoulder structure still retains an obvious avian basis differentiating it from a mammalian humanoid, however.

- I decided to leave the face crests on the head out of the skeleton, since the crests of earth fowl and other birds are generally not skeletal.

- The head "wings" are not skeletal. They might have a cartilage base similar to mammals' ears, or might simply just be long feathers, controllable by muscles like any others (remember that several earth birds have very long head feathers which can be raised and flared at will.)

And again, I must state that I am not an anatomy expert! I don't want any ornithologists thwacking me upside the head for any failures this might have.

Exactly how I imagined Blaziken's skeletal structure would look like, except with the spurs at the back of it's calves.

PokΓ©mon skeletons... I like the concept. +watch

As for not being an anatomy expert, let them thwack you upside the head. As long as it's constructive, you learn from it, and you have a steel plate on/in your head, critical thwacking is good. Also, you'll know that there are ornithologists lurking about our fine domain.

Blaziken also has spurs halfway up its legs (check its BW backsprite for example.)

How do Blaziken's innards (and especially its intestines) stay stably inside when it has no pelvic bowl? (like a human)

I like it! It includes many of Blaziken's key visible features while still being creative yet realistic.
