Huh, thought it would be involving the Mother series judging by the title.
Nice concept though anyways.

The obvious answer: The name of my webcomic. 8D
The real answer: It's a title I came up with for a comic about psychic people. The characters have PSYchic powers, they go to PSY class....Along with various other things that haven't happened in the story yet. ;D

Well, I'm sure if you look around dA you can find several tutorials that can explain better than I can. <:] But here's what I do:
Writing the script comes first. Then revise said script until you're satisfied with it.
After the script is set in stone, then I decide how I want to divide up dialog on the page. IE, I print out the script and draw lines where I want page breaks. The idea behind this is to not have too much dialog on one page, which can usually lead to confusion and cramped drawings.
Next come thumbnails. Everyone does this differently, but I typically type out the dialog (I do everything in Photoshop), sketch out panels, and decide where I want the dialog to go. It's important that the dialog and panels flow naturally to get a sense of continuity.
After that I sketch in really rough drawings to get an idea of where the character's should be on the page. This step and the one before it usually take a while, because I tend to move stuff around a lot. It saves time later, though, if you get everything settled before drawing out the real stuff.
After that, I go over my thumbnails with better sketches and inked in panels. After that, I draw in the dialog boxes, ink the drawings, color, and add in backgrounds.
It's a long process, but it's very satisfying when you have a finished product. :3
But yeah, definitely look up some tutorials, there's definitely some good ones around here. And if you need any elaboration just ask. :3
I wish you luck.

It'd be a lot more dramatic of an entrance if I could get these supid screentones to work. *currently fighting with Photoshop*
I'm thinking about doing just flat colors, rather than shading...My biggest issue is backgrounds. With black and white, it's really easy to get away with no backgrounds, but if it's in color it's quite a bit more noticable. However, I've had success with simple gradient BGs in the past....I'll see how I can get it to work. Because Photoshop is being stupid and I don't really want to screw with screentones. D:<

I've seen page two, and the flat tones look fine with your style. Good luck getting photoshop to work! And hey, you're going to art school this fall, so you'll be able to take classes on it.

Hehe, this it true. And besides, flat tones actually take less time than screentones (Because screentones HATE me), and it's what I'm used to doing for comics, so it all works out. :3

At first she had no female friends, remember? It was just her Lucas, Xavier, and sometimes Kai. But I figured the weird an harem wasn't really fitting to her character, so...
And apology accepted. I washed an RV today. A really big RV. Then hemmed my neighbors curtains. :/ Hence the no uploads.

I knew that she didn't hang out with them while on her Journey of Self Discovery, but I didn't know that they didn't used to exist. And I am amused by May's male harem. The story is kinda like a shonen manga with a male protagonist.
Haha, yay productivity! And I just cleaned my room! Sort of. I really just moved the mess from my floor to the top of my bookcases. And I still can't find my glasses. I last saw them when I left them at Jo's before going to the graduation party. She returned a bag of my stuff to me, but I didn't dump it out until a day later and then I didn't see if my glasses were in there. I think she probably still has then, but I don't want to accuse her of that when they could just as easily be in any one of the massive piles of crud in my room. I figure that I'll clean up in here and see if I don't find them. Never did fall into the habit of using them anyway, so it's not like I'm hurting for them.

I think you mean a shounen manga with a female protagonist. May is female. Last time I checked. >.>
But the weird thing is, I've never really thought of it as shounen...But it's definitely not shojo, despite the romance...Hrm.

Yes, female protagonist. Sorry, my stepmum actually came in and asked me if I'd found my glasses yet so I got all distracted and didn't bother to edit that message. She also wants me to write some essays for scholarships (as if I'll have time in between all the babysitting I'm doing for her).
Well, from what I've heard of the story I can say that it seems to fit the heroic cycle pretty well. Was that on purpose or did the plot just turn out that way?

I emailed Tarver about 10 minutes ago, so I am waiting so see what time she is likely in her room. No sense in drving out for her to not be there.
