A painting I did earlier this year in my art class. I'm pretty pleased with it, but there are a few things I really want to change, but unfortunately it's no longer in my possession. :[ I will get it back in september so I can make some last minute changes before I have to apply for college.Medium: Acrylic paint on a canvas panel.

There is definitely a photograph feel to this picture. I'm not sure if it's the photograph of the painting but I still wished you had push the contrast even further. Right now it looks "realistic" but it's missing that edge... the pushing your artistic ability edge. It's one thing to faithfully recapture natural beauty but I think what a successful artist captures is the "essence" of natural beauty.
