Description My BFF loves to read and in many ways Flyspur is based on her.  And she collects bookmarks.  Sooo I made this.

I'm thinking of making a series of these.  Feel free to print it out and use it if you want.

Haha, don't we all? Trigger looks like a little puppy who just wants to play.

It seemed like a good saying for a bookmark.

Yep...that pretty much sums Trigger up.

Awww! I definitely want to print this out too! What a cute bookmark! I didn't know Flyspur was a bookworm. Yay!

Yay!  Hope it is useful to you.

He is indeed. Usually researching.  His work is pretty much his recreation.

Lol! My mom loves reading books, and is a speed reader. And I mean a speed reader. I'm gonna print this out for her! She'll love having this for her new bookmark.

I hope you do make this into a series.

I hope she likes it!!

I know, tell me about it. It takes me forever to read, at least if I want it to stay in my head.

She loved it! She says thanks you. I keep them up with alot of your HHH stuff, so she knows Flyspur and Trigger.

Oh, do you mind my asking, out of simple curiosity, what are some of the things of Flyspur that are based on your friend?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chill13 In reply to John-AM [2016-05-11 03:28:35 +0000 UTC]

Quiet around strangers. Not particularly comfortable with the but very loyal to close friends. Has to look after nieces and nephews. Smart, always has her nose in a book. Logical, analytical.

How cool. Anybody like Flyspur is cool in my book. Is she the one with you in the JW's on GI pic?

Btw, my mom started reading another book, and she's using your bookmark now.

Rebel-Rider [2016-04-27 03:07:41 +0000 UTC]

Very cute. I wonder if he can hide from Rover there. I love reading. I wonder what genre Flyspur is into.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chill13 In reply to Rebel-Rider [2016-04-27 04:04:52 +0000 UTC]

I think Rover can reach him.
Probably non-fiction mostly. History, science, often cultural information on a species they are likely to encounter.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Rebel-Rider In reply to chill13 [2016-04-27 04:08:21 +0000 UTC]

I thought so. He doesn't seem like the fiction type, though I could see him reading something fictional, then quickly trying to hide it if a crew member came around.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chill13 In reply to Rebel-Rider [2016-04-27 04:11:46 +0000 UTC]

Yep. He wouldn't want to be caught with it. He might just sneak and read some of Rover's westerns. After all he has downloaded ten into the Nellie's data banks.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Rebel-Rider In reply to chill13 [2016-04-27 04:14:47 +0000 UTC]

That would make sense.
I could see Flyspur getting caught with a novel, then scrambling to explain he's trying to learn about a culture.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chill13 In reply to Rebel-Rider [2016-04-27 05:53:43 +0000 UTC]

Yep! That is the exact excuse he would use too!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Rebel-Rider In reply to chill13 [2016-04-27 14:39:21 +0000 UTC]

If it was a western, that would be a rather weak excuse.

Fantasy-Fashionista In reply to chill13 [2016-04-27 03:07:01 +0000 UTC]

Well, I'm mostly into fantasy and fairy tales. Right now, I'm reading a book called Ingo, it's about these two kids/teens who come into contact with merpeople, I'm crazy about mermaids and all that. I wanna read more books on merpeople, for sure. It's been my dream since I was little to be a mermaid. Ha, even when I'm swimming, family and friends call me a mermaid. I wish mermaids WERE real (excluding manatees xD)...But I'm a mermaid at heart. I'm just currently off-duty, ha! Beginning to get more interested in dragons too.

Also, dystopian type books seem interesting to me, I've only begun reading that kind of genre. I may get into reading some sci-fi as well. I was never that big on sci-fi before, but it seems to be growing on me.

I like reading children's books sometimes too. I LOVE the Berenstain Bears. That is literally my go-to childhood book series. Some Dr. Seuss here and there, haven't read much of his books, but I've seen the movies. I also liked the book The Giving Tree. It's rather sad at the end though... >.< There was also a book about a caterpillar that was really cute too, "The Very Hungry Caterpillar".

And that would be perfect! Can't wait to see 'em~

Ha ha! I love Dr. Seuss!

I read a lot of kids and YA books as well as sci fi. And I'm pretty particular about content so any time you want suggestions.....

And cool, well, maybe you could recommend me some Sci-Fi ones?

The are two really great time travel series that I just love!
The Infinity Ring
and
The Missing Series by Margret Haddix

Then there is Cryptid Hunters...one of my FAVORITE books!
Just for a start.
