Rover: I'm gonna fix that one of these days.
Yay! My first comic is finished! Well, sorta. I might color it later.
That arm of Rover's is interchangable but sometimes it has a mind of its own....and yes, that is a plunger.

Well, I remember in a classic episode of "Doctor Who" one of the companions used the coat rack to threatened some angry aliens since they didn't know what it was. It might work for Rover and Flyspur. I do not remember what episode it was but I do remember it was a MALE companion for once.

Well, they're on an alien planet, maybe plungers look more intimidating there (somehow I doubt it). Also, facepalms are definately an integral aspect of inter-personal communication.

He likes Rover and respects him in a lot of ways, but he's also perfectly aware of the fact that he needs a babysitter. And he's kind of taken up the challenge.

Sounds like just the guy Rover needs on his side. Woe betide anyone who ever targeted Flyspur though (cause some people definitely would; he's fairly weak physically and the easiest way to disable a crew is to remove the brains of the operations).

Oh, yes! Rover's a pretty easy going guy but he can be dangerously protective if anyone targets his crew, Flyspur in particular.

Sounds like my kind of hero. Given any thought to using that type of plot-line though? It would definitely be interesting to see your take on it and it fits into the world you're using.

That's actually a really great idea! Rover would be completely beside himself. Really, he looks at Flyspur more as a younger brother than a subordinate. And he'd head off into a badly planned rescue mission that would land them into even deeper trouble. The crew sould be struggling without someone to do the logistical work.
It's certainly a good plot idea. I like it.

While they are different in many ways, they DO have very similar relationships with their captain's. Befuddled, confused and yes, at times, embarassed by them.

Yes! They are my original characters. First time I've played with OCs in a long time. This will hopefully be a kind of series. I've already done a few pictures of them but I'm hoping to do more comics and, once I have finished designing more of the crew, some short stories.
