Thanks very much to for this idea!OK, not a very Scroogey Scrooge, nor very ghostly ghosts. (It's always a bummer when an image isn't self-explanatory.)
I don't know if I have a Scrooge bone in my body, but I've always had a perverted itch to play Scrooge - get to snarl "Bah Humbug!" at cute little kids, etc... and this was my chance!
I've also allowed myself some Chronophontian liberties with the ghosts - not least because I was never much impressed by the way the ghosts have been visualized in the past. Christmas Past is mostly about the Fezziwigs' rompin stompin party - so what better Ghost than Chronophontia's #1 Party Girl? Christmas Present concerns the hungry Cratchits - here represented by a winsomely woebegone waif in homely homespun. (And pregnant too! As always, Natasha requested a 9-months look, though it's only five months just now.) And for Christmas Yet to Come, had an unbeatable idea: our own grim reaper, Euthie!

Not by name, but I remember Uncle Scrooge very well from my childhood.Β In fact I knew about him before I ever heard of the "real" Scrooge, so for a while I was confused about who was named after who.Β Until I learned about Charles Dickens and that he was, well, some years older than Disney.

Thank you!Β I don't know what it is about pregnancy and poverty...they don't exactly "go together", but maybe pregnancy enhances the appearance of poverty.Β In any case, pregnant Natasha was somehow the only candidate for Christmas Present.Β (Her daughter Elena was born four months later, and is now a highly articulate little princess at 3-1/2.)
