------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Display issues have been fixed. The journal layout will now work properly.

Currently, this is my 400th deviation. I managed to fit all eighteen layouts (nineteen, technically) into a 2MB file. I thought it would be much larger.

This CSS was designed in Firefox and works almost perfectly with the latest version of Internet Explorer 7. See the Known Bugs list in the readme for more information regarding specific issues.

Available in nine colours:
Rose (pink), Crimson (dark red), Autumn (orange), Lemon (yellow), Grass (green), Slate (grey blue), Lilac (purple), Ice (light bluish grey) and Halloween Redux (Modernity version of Halloween CSS Layout )

Features:
  • ZIP file contains both single and two column versions, along with preview images
  • Designed for a 1024x768 resolution
  • Designed for both Firefox and Internet Explorer with minimal loss of aesthetics in IE
  • Many customizable features
  • Menu links feature mouse-over descriptions (Removed in v.1.2)
  • Static left sidebar
  • Sleek and modern design
  • Features Fella, the dA mascot
  • A Fella-less header and other PSD/XCF files are also included
  • CSS is available under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial 3.0 License and may be altered as desired

Changelog:

30 OCT 2008: v.1.2.2
  • Moved the sidebar code in the two column layout to the Header section.
  • Updated the Photobucket screenshot and directions (Photobucket changed their uploading system).
  • Other tweaks.

24 OCT 2008: v.1.2
  • Fixed the CSS to work correctly in dA v6 by removing the top menu.
  • Restored background image to Explorer versions.
  • Minor tweaks to the code
  • Added new readme.

Thank you for this CSS, but I have one question. Every time I try to use it, at the top of my CSS box it says "CSS Error:
Brackets in values - other than url([link] ) - are disallowed (token: #000000 url('background.png' left repeat)" and I'm not sure how to fix it/what it's supposed to mean. Could you help me?

Oops, that was my fault - the HTML stuff was there all along.

This is now successfully being used as my journal, and I love it! I only have one problem: my last header box is hanging over the comments: [link]

Is there any way to fix this/make the journal extendable?

It's gorgeous... but I have been playing with it, trying to get it to work for 2 hours now, almost, and I still can't get the left column to show up, despite using the two column CSS. I even hosted the images on another site, which was a problem before. Isn't there anything with the readme that shows what HTML you need to use to make the column on the left (for links, stamps, credit, etc.) to show up?

Do I have permission to edit it for my own journal only (thus inferring I don't release or remove credit from yourself)?

I finally got it working, but I had to leave out the codes in the header (it made 2 layers of boxes or nothing but header)

I love it, but needs a slight fix on my title bar.. the text isnt over the black area [link]

can anyone help?

I would like to say that I really love these. And I love how colorful they are.

I am just having one slight problem. When I preview it keeps saying:
"CSS Error:
Brackets in values - other than url([link] ) - are disallowed (token: #000000 url('background.png' left repeat)"

How do I fix that??

Do you have to upload the images on a site like ImageShack and put them into the code? I put the CSS, header, and journal entry stuff into all the text areas, but it didn't turn out right. Help please?
