Description Chicago's Union Station was an incredibly busy place.... and on the Sunday's when the Q was running a steam fan trip you could usually get away with wandering past the end of the platforms with a camera and shooting all the activity. Here a duo of CB&Q E9's backs down into the south end with one of the many Zephyr's that would come flying past us later in the day.

I would say the amenities offered by Chicago Union Station are really appreciable.

I have a shot of a steam engine... same place [link] Oddly when I go there it doesn't want to display full view though.

Yes... but in a completely different form. I have several other photos of it but what I really want to do is go back with my camera. I've been back in the city several times in the last few years but it was with my family who really aren't interested in standing around while I wait for trains to appear.
