China is suffering from a 5.8's earthquake in Yunnan province, southern part of China,at the very main while and I am scared by the both sides for just being between the two places.

This drawing is so bittersweet, it's actually made me tear up a bit. It really gets the point across that wee may be divided through our troubles, but they also bring us together.

My mum (who's a very strong hearted woman) when she heard the news of Haiti, she started crying.
We don't have any family in Haiti, but the fact that Haiti is a small Caribbean island, it pretty much tugged her heart strings, big time.
My family and i pray for everyone who's been affected by the natural disasters and the violence that has occurred.

You sir, are talking absolute nonsense. You'd think we in the Netherlands would notice Germany (SOMEHOW) getting hit by a tsunami (which is, by the way, pretty much impossible here in north-western Europe).

Finally, an artwork that mentions Japan AND all the other countries around the world in turmoil. The piece looks like something out of a children's story book. And forgive me for saying, but the way they all hold hands, facing the wave... it's almost as if they're ready for their own deaths. As if... they're not afraid....

The main reason I used "believe" for the title is as long as they believe in themselves, and that there's still hope, the tsunami, the earthquake, the violence, the wars, etc will end at this moment. It's why they are holding hands courageously, believing definitely that the tsunami will stop at this moment.

I love this, if not for the beautiful colors and shapes, for the fact that it encompasses all those struck by disaster, and not just Japan. There are alot of areas going through hardships now, and I think more people need to focus on places that might not be as publicized, not just Japan. I'm not in anyway saying that any disaster is more important then the other, I just hope that when people pray for Japan, they throw in New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Libya, Australia, Cambodia, Haita, Mexico, and everywhere else hurt as well.

Thanks for that. People seems to be forgettingthe other people that are also suffering. The picture is really nice. I think you didn't wanted it... but I feel it somehow ironic. This dance with people from each country dancing together looks like the one oyu see in book when you're child. Or the song from disney... where everybody from everywhere is happy. With the background... I think this is why it also make the picture thouching.

Beautiful, yet saddening image, with a very important message. The media seems to be focusing mostly on Japan, and a lot of people are too, because of how influential Japan is to our own culture... but there are many countries out there affected by this disaster and others, and we shouldn't be selective in our focus and support. People are people and tragedy is tragedy, no matter the nation, and this picture does an outstanding job of expressing an important message without being heavy-handed.
