Description I am so relieved to have finally finished this one...I've been working on it 30 minutes here and 30 minutes there for the last 12 months or so, courtesy of being Mum of two beautiful girls who keep me very busy. And tired.

A tip for anyone planning on painting a foggy scene...DON'T

As usual, my camera doesn't really portray the actual painting truly, and I had to crop about half an inch off of the right hand side (as we see it) to avoid having some of our sofa surrounding it

I used some photos my father took in Giant Sequoia national park for reference and also got the notion for the little man from a photo I saw in a book.

Acrylics on board, about A1 in size.

i have seen the Sequoias of Β California and they are beautiful. Β Huge, towering, strong, and majestic.... Β your painting captures that feeling. Β well done.

i have seen them a few times now and each time they leave me in awe. Β they just grow up into the sky in this never ending blend of texture, strength, and perseverance... I admire them.
