There was something about this picture that bugged me as I was working on it... I sketched it entirely in Manga Studio & for some reason they came out looking different... There's something about the size of their eyes that bugs me... But I exported it into Photoshop anyways & started colouring it...it was only as I'd put the last flat colour on that I realised I'd done Helix's hair wrong
the left side (his left - our right) of his fringe/bangs is floppy in this picture where as it's usually ... well not floppy! 
it's supposed to stick out more :/ So I'm abandoning it as it is before it frustrates me anymore!

I really like the textures flat colours for this actually, it has a colour pallet you don't see on many pictures. This is such a cute moment and these characters of yours have such awesome clothes and designs as usual.

I think this one is really good though! I'd say if you sized up the eyes to be touching the top and bottom eyelashes it'd fix your issue (because that's how you drew them everywhere else).
the hair looks actually right because his head is tilted so it'll look like the our right side of the picture hair would flop down a bit.

I think it's the overall size though... not just the pupils... also I think Helix's are a little too low :/

You are way to hard on yourself, I think this is adorable and I love the additional texture layer over them.
Helix's hair looks fine the way it is, maybe he forgot to put the gel in it that morning, and their expressions are so cute! Mynk all curious and interested in some Helix probably finds so mundane. <3

I liked the idea... but to be honest about now I'm fed up with it! I started it last night * I just kept saying to Ben - "there's something wrong & I don't know why I can't fix it!!" D:
I do love textures... from the moment I chose to abandon it I whipped up my textures and plonked them on XD I'm with you - they just seem to make everything look more finished! :3
