in this case, "just" is an understatement.
the photo works so impressively because of the strenght of the original perspective.
I think you should put this one under "digital darkroom", or at least inform people of that in the artists comments.

Lots of good allusions to death.
- The fall
- even the patterns of rocks on the steps seem to slide up to the feet, and the wall parallels the arms.
- The thirds makes it look framed like she's buried in a hole
- The position isn't really like a fall, nor like a fetus in a womb, it's the position of rigor... not really of humans, but birds and dinosaurs have these long ligaments in the neck and back that contract with death and pull back the head like that.
- The lack of contrast in the architecture makes it look flat even though it's the more three dimensional image. Whereas all the shadows around the human exentuates the 3 dimensionality even though, she's more in profile and more flat.
It's a novel attack at some older concept pieces that makes it look new. Tres coo'

poor dead girl. very expressive though the stairs gave me some confusion because at first glance they looked like they were stairs upward rather than down.
The colors add to the feeling of it so much.
