Robot at the water pad reminds me a mr. Zurkon from Ratchet & Clank series.

Some of the animations seem a little faster than they need to be, like the metal bin looking robot that hovers past.
Also your vehicles are transparency which kinda ruins the immersion when you see the telegraph poles through them as they drive past them.

i watched this... far too many times..... stilll..... watching.... Dude, you are awesome. How long did it take you to make this? do you have any plans to make any short films in the not too distant future? this is awesome.
I need to practice my vectors... i love how smooth some of the shape changes are. i.e. blue guy with red hair blinking.
it would be awesome to see a show animated in your style. i'd buy the dvd. hahahahaha, looking forward to your future work!

Thanks mate, I should really start documenting the hours I put in to things like this, but probably about 4 hours for drawing up all the bits and pieces in Illustrator and another 6 in Flash I'd think.
I've got some plans, it's just a matter of kicking my own butt into gear. But hopefully I'll make up something soon.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you make in future. If you can make something this good in 10 hours, then you'd be able to rip it up animating. I know what you mean tho, motivation can be hard to come by especially when one has a day job, bills, etc to consider. Anyways, have a good one mate. You should make an entry for tropfest or something next time round. some friends of mine were shortlisted for the top 50 this time round (and between you and me, it isn't the best work they are capable of) but you know its still great. Its hard to find the time and the motivation, but you've got so much talent it'd be awesome to see what you'd come up with.

Ha, probably more than I can remember my files get pretty messy, there's probably around about 4 core layers though.
