Now, I proudly present… warrior design days! I’ve been wanting to do this for ages and I finally mustered up the courage to draw some cats again, I have really missed drawing them, they are very simple and fun to draw and I wish I didn’t stop drawing them
I wonder if some of you didn’t know I have drawn them, well, I do enjoy doing so and I will be drawing them more often.

Design days is just a weekly thing where I design and talk about a character and based on the poll results I got last, it was only fitting I did this guy first, the protagonist who started it all. His design turned out exactly as I had imagined and he looks really great!
Everything about him I love and I conveyed his attitude and percentile very well into the final result!

Firestar was the perfect protagonist to start with, I’ve always really loved the first arc, every time I go through warriors and do a reread, I enjoy reading his arc so much, and it gets me really motivated to draw and design some of the characters from there. I loved his relationships with all his clanmates, and growing up, he was definitely one of my favourites, in the original arc, I always remembered all the characters, even the background characters, it’s that dynamic I wish the newer arcs had, just some more developed background characters who have personalities, I’ve always loved background characters like that. And, the darkest hour was such a great book, the suspense and everything was so well written and I absolutely love the cover on that one, it’s a masterpiece.

I also really loved the budding romance between Sandstorm and Firestar, it was very cute and sweet. I remember too growing up I really liked silverstream and greystripe, for some reason, my first digital art piece was of them actually.
If I can call that an art piece-
I have a lot of really old art that isn’t that great xD

Anyways, I’ll keep my rants short this time around, as I don’t have a lot to say but the fact that Firestar is such a great character, even if he’s a bit overused, but, as always I hope you all have a great week and stay inspired!
