Description
So yesterday I went to a mineral exposition about a 1 hour drive from here. It's a paradise for anyone who loves gems, minerals and fossils because they have a HUGE collection available!
Unexpectedly, I found some real treasures among all the sparkling stones.
Usually lizard carvings don't interest me much but I just couldn't let this one slip. Such a striking color and I love citrine

I picked this little guy because of his bright yellow colour combined with the very white base
Ah, that sounds like a wonderful show! Master carvings can cost a pretty penny yes. I once saw a rainbow obsidian plague with a carved coyote howling at a moon made of a huge moonstone cab. To top it off the coyote had a pair of emerald eyes. It was really my dream piece but WAY out of my budget

Boulder opal is beautiful! I love how plain the stone itself looks and then shows gaps and veins of sparkling opal hidden within.
