Description #6 of 7 in a series of pen and colored pencil drawings I did in the summer of 2001 when I was all excited about Jurassic Park III. Oh, if I had only known what I was in for. I may or may not have used skeletals, I honestly can't remember. Probably not, though.

Hey guys this is a cool picture of a Stegosaurus I made.

The plates apparently occupy a flat plane (although at least there's a correct number and they're arranged properly, unless that's changed too since I drew this) and the perspective on the tail scutes is possibly four-dimensional.

I made sure I added the "throat pouch with bony ossicles" so Mike Keesey wouldn't add a demeaning comment underneath the picture when it got posted to the Dinosauricon (not really).

P.S. I just decided this was an S. armatus rather than S. stenops.
