The British Buzzard. A wonderful, elegant bird of prey.I have been really lazy lately with my drawing, and felt like i was plodding along in 2nd gear with my work, so I cranked it up a few notches and I have found some of the inspiration I have been lacking lately.
I am really pleased how this turned out. I went all out on this one, although i'm sure I can improve.
It took me 7 hours to draw! Thats quite a long time for me.
I even put my mech pencil to one side and decided to do things properly... yes i got out all my pencil sets, and i ended up using, 2,3 and 5b pencils, an HB pencil AND a really nice Carbon pencil which i never knew i had. It worked wonders on the darker areas.
All in all I think this is one of the best pieces I have done for aaaaages, but nice to have some constructive critisisms to help me on my way.

7 hours.... mhh that's so little time. I mean, if I'll try to draw something like that, may be, I spend more time. Surely.

I admit compared to others on DA i draw quite fast, but i'm too impatient to stay on a drawing for much longer
Though if i did it would either turn out better or i would end up overdoing it so i just end up thinking it's finished and stop before i ruin it anymore lol
But thanks for your comment, I may try and do a drawing one day that takes me a longer if i feel i have the time, and see how it turns out

Nah but seriously, i'm sure if i spent 40 odd hours on it it would look 40 times better probably. I'm sure there are things i can improve on, well i know there is cos i keep seeing other peoples graphite drawings n i'm in awe! awwwwwwwwe!!
ah well practise practise practise. More pictures soon i hope (so long as i dont turn lazy again )
