What Swellow lacks in visual aesthetics it makes up for in power.

Its ability Guts raises its attack power when its suffering from a status condition like Burn or Poison. What’s more is that it has access to the move Facade, a Normal-type move that increases in damage when the user is suffering from a status condition like burn or poison. So factoring in the boost it gets from its Guts ability, the boost it gets from Facade, and the same type attack bonus Swellow gets from being a Normal-type, it all adds up to Swellow being able to hit foes super hard.

But it’s base speed stat is 125, which is faster than Mega Pidgeot.
