Is it really a Spitfire? It looks more like a Mustang to me. Please correct me if im wrong

You are likely just more familiar with early/mid war Spitfires with the high back and Malcolm style hooded canopy. This one however is a later variant of the Spitfire with a cut down fuselage and teardrop canopy. She also has a Rolls Royce Griffin engine and a five blade propeller. Earlier Spits used a Rolls Royce Merlin and either a three or four blade prop. The Spit went through many changes in her time as an operational aircraft.

My doubths come mainly from the cockpit's shape. Mustang's is this capsule while the spitfire was kind of... "hooded". Also, the country distinctives could be french due to the owner of the plane might have registered it there.
