Description
100 Percent - From edge to edge this was all hand percussion flaked using
3 different size copper boppers, a black leather leg pad & abrasion stone.
* The actual rock from the start had a very hard curve or bend, was actually quiet
difficult to do. Had to create new angles where none were. picked up on some new techniques.

We see some tools like this in their context at work, but they're normally made of chert. Ever try reproducing archaeological artifacts in like materials?

I never really really did get into reproduction of
many original points from any region. I make whatever comes to mind
at the moment.

- yeah it's very transparent. as I was making it shades of
grey & light grey stripes of the obsidian would break off into
beautiful patterns, it has a smokey tint to it

Its really a rather fragile art if you think about it.
The wrong strike could snap your piece. Too much pressure
leaves you two arrowheads not one.
But I think I may do some before & after pics at some point for the people to see.
