goodness, i wonder what her backstory is. very dramatic. (actually, it does put me in mind of a movie i once saw...with a bride....and a sword...and lots of blood.) i would concur with the three tips mentioned above, however. i do love the transparent, shimmering quality of the fabric of her dress. and the dispassionate look on her face. and i was serious about the backstory question.

This is quite disturbing... It almost looks as if she ran away from her wedding right after stabbing her groom.
And that dagger...it looks like a misericorde, an Italian dagger that is used for delivering the coup d' grace to a dying opponent after a duel.
As always, her gown is stunning. You certainly have a talent for that...

the upper layer of her dress and parts of her head piece really seems to GLOW and i can really feel the different textures. the details are just overwhelming. i adore this piece. first +fav ever

Can she fit in that chair with all that dress? I actually like your lacing, very whispy. Fits in with the demented look on her face and the whole "I could be an axe murderer if only I didn't have such a liking to my hat pin" kind of mood. Nice splatter stains. Love the hair and the hat thingy. Would you make me a hat like that, and I'll take it to Ben and he'll do my hair real pretty like that?
I won't even bring up the backgroung. Oops, I guess I just did. Ah, for the best laid plans never seem to bear fruit...

Three tips to becoming a greater artist...
#1 Put even more detail in the dress. I know there is alot... But we both know that you can (and will) do ALOT more.
#2 Add more depth to the background. There should be atleast 2 more rows of trees dont you think?
#3 Please do something with the grass. it looks ok... just ok... the grass doesnt look like you liked doing it... but seriously... we both know you have done better.
