Description
The sisters of the Neckling woods went along the beach taking thier groad along to gather water for them. Then laying there by a little pile of sea shells was the apple, no doubt droped by its previous owner. The sisters picked up the poor dear taking into deep into thier woods where thier cottage awaited........Continuing on my apple story
. Well I had loads of fun with this pic, and the little groad is a little creature I created, I think he is fun. . Hope you all like

Oh gosh, this is just beautiful. The girls' dresses are so gorgeous! I love the glittery, glowy bits. Their hair is really pretty, too, especially with the cool net things on top. Love the detail in all the characters. I really love the purple and green color scheme and how it makes the apple stand out. Just beautiful, I love it.

The design of the gowns is superb: a Renaissance style, if I am not mistaken? But what caught my attention the most was the spiderweb design near the hem and along the collar. This is not your typical fairy-tale scene, but it still carries a hint of that.
Strangely enough, this has a hint of Neil Gaiman in it.

kurt that is SO awesome. Those dresses are incredible, and as always the sisters' faces and hair are gorgeous. I love the little creature too, its kinda neat that you created such an ugly little beast to accompany these beautiful women - I love the juxtaposition of the two.

also you do the most beautiful dresses and hehe, you're reverting to your old style? i have a feeling that you do, but you keep a darker, more muted palette, whcih i reeeli like!
i do have a feeling the hands of the left lady are a bit small,
and your clothes-fold painting skills have improved so much even from the last pic! i congratulate you!
and the bg looks a bit like enayla's 'path of petals' picture

ohh and the groad is pretty cool - HE should be carrying the apple
the left hand of the sister in the back looks kinda weird - like it is turn 180°
I think the groad is sticking out a bit, because he is pretty detailed, compared to his surroundings

I really like the dark, gothic appearance of this picture. The soft background provides excellent depth compared to the sharper characters, and their garments are just fabulous. So much detail.
