Chibi versions of the main monsters found in Monster Hunter Freedom for the Sony PSP.Something i did in Character design class where we had to do chibi stuff and i hate doing chibi stuff >_<. i've just mish-mashed them all together, from the top left going right is an aptenoth, apceros, mosswine, bullfango, basarios, velocidrome, gendrome, iodrome, gypceros, khezu, monoblos, plesioth, diablos, gravios, felyne, melynx, blue kut- ku, rathian, rathalos, cephadrome, kirin and garuga.
All are ink and watercolours
Monster hunter Freedom characters are not mine, they belong to Capcom.

That's so cute, though I hate most of those creatures, makes them cuddly and not want to use my tachi(longsword) on it.

OoooOOo For not liking to do chibis these are really good. I have Monster Hunter for the PS2 tho, I love it. Although..Cephalos And Cephadrome are very annoying when they hide in the sand - -. Anyway great work!

I never managed to find monster hunter for ps2, i only had a demo of it.
But i prefer it on psp because i can take it out with me and play it with my friends wherever we go via wireless lan.

Do you plan to do a second piece with new creatures? you should! it would be awesome if you could add the two or three exclusive monsters that appeared in Monster Hunter Frontier (the Japanese PC Monster Hunter) because they look incredible!
P.S. i love the facial expression on Kirin, it's like he enjoys being a dragon that looks like a unicorn...i couldnt have that same self-respect...people would be all like,"Hey horse face? why do you have scales?" and i would be like, "i'm a dragon from chinese mythology!" and they would be like,"You look like a unicorn!"...and i would cry myself to sleep... sorry, i gotta stop going off on tangents...

lol, probably, but i've only played monster hunter on psp, so i might be adding the new monsters in mh freedom 2 instead, i think chameleos might look quite funny chibi- ised.
oh! I couldnt think of a good way of chibi-ing the kirin but one time, i saw this little model horse with that exact grin on it's face and well... i thought it would be funny.

It worked out well, and funny you should mention chameleos, i was prolly gonna fight it for the first time today, however i've seen it in action on youtube so at least i wont be n00bed up my ***
I think i'll try making chibis of the Monster Hunter Frontier Exclusives then, so keep an eye out, also they may be in monster hunter freedom 2 G, but i doubt the G version will come to the U.S. because the first MHG dint either, it makes me sad to know that there are at least 3 MH games that wont come to the U.S. (MHG, MH2, and prolly but i hope not...MHFrontier) I don't mind MHG not goming here though because it was only made so that japanese players could use dual-blades, which werent in the original JP version but were in the U.S.

ooohhh... first time chameleos eh? I remember my first time... the thing stole all my mega and max potions >_< I hate fighting it, yet skarecrow85 loves fighting it, probably because he uses bow/bowguns and hardly gets close enough for it to steal his stuff. If you're using swords, i suggest cutting it's tail, it looses it's cloaking capabilities.
I'll be sure to look out for your chibi mh! i'll see about doing my own when i've seen all the monsters too- i think there might be one or two i havent seen yet.

ya im just doin the 2 from MH Frontier... and chameleos pished me off... i did well against him but still died because he used his hunger breath as his first attack as soon as the cut scene ended, and it went downhill from there, i could only clank off it's tail, so that made th battle run too long, and i still did not get the tail off...

awww... well, keep at it! i managed to get the tail off the second time i went against it. Only the small curly end of it will come off though, not the enourmous thing it bashes the ground with.
