MonHun comic WITHOUT Darkmane or Glyde!!
Rajang! Is it a Monkey? Is it a Minotaur? No, It's a Lion.
For those that follow MonHun news even by accident, it's no secret now that theres a new riding mechanic in MH4/4G. Especially for those who are already playing the Japanese versions, when fighting a Rajang of any sort, if you manage to ride one while it's enraged with all it's fun sticking up, when you "Hold-on" at this point, it looks like the Hunter in snuggling up in the fur
especially when it's at rest and the camera zooms in to see the Hunter obscured by all the new fur that's standing up XDWhat sort of adorable creature exists in the MonHun universe that will look extra cute snuggling up in a lovely, soft bed of golden luscious fur? Cats Felyne and Melynx obviously... At the Rajang's expense.
Monster Hunter, Rajang and Melynx etc belong to Capcom.

That kitten must've really been indulging in those spare rations and steaks beforehand. On that same note, the mental image of a cat being pulled around like a cling-on rag doll atop Rajang is far too humorous of a mental image to not snicker at.

Actually, the Chinese for Dodobrango says its a Lion too
The model makes them resemble apes but actually, no in game sources say they are XD so we are wrong! They are lions, foxes and maybe Konga since Beast/Creature could be any thing.

I've never gotten the chance to fight a Rajang because he was a difficult quest to unlock for me, same for the fatalis trio. Hopefully in the new game I'll be able to fight them

Yeah, Rajang are end-game monsters in the old Freedom games. In MH4/4G, you get him at the final difficulty of High Rank normally (Though quests cycle randomly) and at G3 (Which also cycle) or you can get a quest for him in the Free-Roam Forest (High or G versions) if you're lucky, again, they're high difficulty and therefore, give really good rewards in Forest quests. The best quests you can get are Ranjang combo quests where it's Rajang plus another target
Fatalis require doing certain quests to unlock though again, there is a High rank version too, but only Super Crimson is available normally at G3, the other two need downloading where White is Episodic
The Fatalis Brothers are great fun to fight XD Cheating Rajang however, can be a pain to fight >< Especially the Extreme versions

Yeah, I always had issues unlocking those quests. I kinda just gave up and started playing 3U.
Rajang looks hard to fight, but after fighting psychopathic Tigrex's, Brachydios's, and Deviljho's, I think I can handle him, lol. XD
The fatalis I've always wanted to fight was the white fatalis and I'm glad they're putting him back in the game.

Well, theres a lot more balance in 4G (Soon to be 4U) compared to 4 - Invincibility frames where you can stay down longer to just about survive Cheating Rajang's punch+beam combo and Forest quests don't turn Rajang into Golden Rajang anymore at post G levels... But then it ramps things up with the Extreme virus versions instead XD I actually miss the Lv100 Cheating Golden Rajang when i'm up against the Download Extreme naked Rajang (Not the Rajang being naked, any Hunters participating have to be naked).
