Nice one! Just a few thoughts, if I may?
I see you used a blur effect on the background to indicate motion. Personally, I think it would look so much more eye-popping if you add full detail to the background, and just use more of a dynamic pose regarding the bodies. When in motion, physics tend to change poses slightly due to strains on certain muscles. Something as small as curving the vine a bit, and bending the bodies just a tad may have a drastic effect on the overall outcome.
As far as the background goes: A nice little trick is to use a texture jpeg as an overlay on the trees. Just set it to a low opacity, and use the burn tool lightly where appropriate. That way you can get as detailed as you want without distracting from the foreground. I would use a very very small motion blur. Not enough to mess with the details, but just enough to get the perfect distortion effect.
Overall, it looks good! Keep it up!

Hey, that's good advice! I wasn't sure how to show motion properly. I think with those tips though, I can improve the picture. I hadn't thought to use a texture for the background. Now I'm facepalm-ing myself for not thinking it. I'll see if I can fix up the vine too. I think a curve would make it look better as well. Thanks so much for the tips. Both are very helpful.

The shadowing looks very different. Its not as sharp as usual. Certainly adds more texture.

I wanted to take a different approach with coloring the skin. The skin looks great to me, but I still fail at hair and backgrounds. Hahah, those are things I'll be working on next time. I was in the biggest art block of my life when I attempted this. It really helped me work through my grief. I should be doing stuff on a more regular schedule now.

Nuh-uh! It's a motion blur, duh! Lol, I wasn't sure how to show speed in the coloring. It's something I'll research for next time though.

photoshop has a motion blur function in the same menu. It'll get the effect you want.

It was mostly Disney villains. I hid that pic, because looking at it now... the art just looks so bad to me. One day, I might redraw it though.
