Description
A speedpaint (may eventually be a full painting) companion/response piece to [link]Aylin stretched her neck up in the chilly wind - wind signaling the approach of winter to these lands. Mounted on her rock above the lake, she shivered, feeling invincible. Then the smallest longing tugged at her heart. She sighed. She tried to tell herself she didn't, but she missed her herd... her family... the yearlings she used to run with. She missed...
It sounded silly, but sometimes she missed someone she had never met. A stallion who would come along to win her heart and run with her across the plains she loved so much.
She could wait. She had friends and family. She looked up at the stars, and a meteorite streaked by in the blink of an eye. Somebody was peering up at that same sky, wondering where she was, she thought. Someday she would meet that somebody.
I gave up my love story to God last fall, but that doesn't stop me from wondering...
I always have to remind myself that I'm only 19. I've got alot of years before I have to start worrying about never finding someone.

Dont worry about looking for the one the Lord has made for you. I searched and searched, but I didnt find my husband until I stopped searching and it was time.
The funny thing is, we've talked about all the places we've been over the years. and wouldnt you know, there were countless times where we were in the same place, same room, but never actually met.
God works in the most wonderful ways, and every love story he writes has a happy ending ^_^ Thats one of the things I love about Him. No matter what happens in this world, I will ALWAYS know that when He brings us home, my husband will be there by my side to experience it all with me.
I love the picture, btw ^_^ Keep up the good work, and dont let this world get you down.

Believe me, I know. This picture was mostly to cheer up a friend of mine, who drew a similar picture first. I wanted him to know that he wasn't the only out there waiting. I wanted him to know that he's not alone.

I turn 28 next month and I'm still wondering if I'll ever find that someone. You're definitely a youngling still! Just make certain you don't settle when you start meeting guys. The right one is out there and don't ever sell yourself short just to not be alone.
Anyways, beautiful piece! I would love to see this as a finished painting. It's got great atmosphere and a beautiful composition.
