The colors really show off your style, I notice you always seem to use that color of blue. Very cool man!

Fantastic colour transitions, I find that so hard to do. Overall a very unique interpretation of the Basilisk, I like how it has become nigh-on corpulent, a monster that barely needs to run after its dinner would definitely be hefty!
Was this a personal/portfolio piece, just for fun? Either way, I look forward to picking up the next issue of ImagineFX!

I see that whole 'tons of eyes' shtick alot in contemporary fantasy stuff as far as Basilisks are concerned. Makes sense, I suppose, but it amuses me nonetheless how consistently it shows up.
