Description Rendered in Bryce5... oh here we go, another image from the toubled and troubling world of Poser5. As you can see I've been tinkering with bringing figures in from poser again, with what passes for dynamic hair once it has been passed through an intermediate format. This is three renders (did I mention it was troubled) two, one in focus and one out and a distance mask all of which were combined in PSP7 to create the variable focus effect. Lighting and focus I was happy with, pose (so - so) the bulk of my problems have been with the skin and trying to get the right level of ambient, speculative and bump response. (Still not that happy with the results but this is the best I've been able to manage so far) On the plus side, I was happy with the composition.

hehe its a new form of sun tan lotion .. a strange titanium like metal that absorbs all the harmful rays. I think with the b/g going our of focus/hazy like it is the crisp lined shadows dont seem to fit in, and i agree the composition is pretty good. Is it just me or are her legs kinda reflective? You betta let her out .. girl needs to pee sometime

Metal women don't wee. Yes she's a bit metalic and the focus effect troubled me - what can I say, I'm finding putting figures into my images "tricky" - but if everything thing was easy I'd soon lose interest. The reflectivity was an attempt to get some light into those shadow regions - think I over did it a bit. Oh well.

Oh right ... she's metal .. the skin tones had me fooled. I guess in that case the reflective legs work pretty well.

interesting idea, caging women in, maybe make the material abit more rusty, give the piece more depth?

I'm not against the idea, I just didn't want to detract too much from lines of the torus and the figure. I didn't see it quite so much as caging, her expression I hoped was the netural enough for you to think her a bored fashion model who is tollerating her bizare possition because that is what she is payed to do by daft artists.
