Description Bryce 5 minute effect project - fluorescent electron edge - a tutorial by David Brinnen

A Bryce 7.1 Pro tutorial aimed at people who are moderately well versed in Bryce and wish to expand their skills. A quick rendering stylised effect that looks a bit like the kind of thing you see in an electron microscope perhaps?

Some additional text is included in the video, you may have to pause the video to read it.

Better viewed in HD - some of the controls in Bryce are quite fiddly and small.

I just stumbled on your tutorial for this on YouTube (I'm brand new to Bryce and was looking for exactly this kind of fun thing to play with). I used it (with a lot of deliberate noise) on a dragon in a recent image - it made it look a bit like a dragon made out of digital static. So someone who knows nothing about Bryce can successfully follow this tutorial too.

I went through the beginner simple landscape tutorial on your YouTube channel too and thought it was very clear - just that little bit of info led to two days of just playing around with basic scenes like that.

So - thank you!

OK, mine didn't turn out very bright at all, going to go back and see if I've missed a step

It is easy to miss a step. If you get stuck, post me the file and I'll see if I can figure it out for you.
