Description This is a gift for of her horse Abigail, though I have a feeling that she may have left DA

so its here for when you get back
Im really rubbish at drawing hair and backgrounds, but I did try

edit- if it doesnt work for you, keep refreshing, as im having issues as well:/ I changed the image size and ever swince it keeps not working, but try refreshing if not I will have to re-upload it

edit2- seems to work fine in everything but IE

thankyou horse heads are easy once you know the main points and each point helps place the next one such as diamond on the forehead and an eye goes underneath each lover section of the diamond, drawing a straight line form the diamond forms the nose/face, ears at the top

i will do really rough tutorial one day^^

Awww that's so sweet and cool! I love how smoothly her body is coloured! Looks so rich and posh! The background is pretty! (what's that about refs for me?? )

I need to work on my backgrounds I have almost got lineart and shading sussed, so my next missions of improvement is hair/manes which has always been a weakness and backgrounds

as for your refs you'll just have to wait and see

I find horses easyish to draw as I used to work with 40-50 at a large riding centre and was always taking pictures and drawing them

I just cant draw manes/hair:/

Awww!!! This is sooooo sweet of you! I absolutely LOVE it! The thing is, I don't even remember what I did to deserve thanks! I was off DA for several weeks, but I guess I came back just in time! Anyway, this is great! Lovely pose! Not many people like to draw Abi because her markings are so complicated! You did a terrific job on them though! The background is awesome! Much more complicated than most of mine! I never attempt forest scenes! Love her sweet face! Thank you very very much! Here have a cookie!

yey youre online I was worried you had left and i wouldnt be able to show you!

the thanks was because you alerted me a while ago to someone on youtube who had used my animation in a video

and for helping me get some refs for it was a bit of a long awaited thankyou but I promised I would draw Abi for you as a thankyou, I just been put back by a few things



glad you like her^^ she was fun to draw, I was going to draw her on Sunday but, my service provider is cutting us off for the day to *fix* things, so did it today

my backgrounds suck! ^^ I do try hard but I fail:/ I can paint them better than I can do it via photoshop.

I was aiming for a playful kinda look at me/chase me expression

It's a great BG you should see my attempts at trees hehee so not good

But the expression came out like you meant it too very good and nice to see you posting up some more art again <3
