Description
I've now made peace with the rock joke.Hidden Palace inspiration drawn more from the scrapped Sonic 2 version of the zone. And now we hold our collective breath and hope Knuckles, once again arrives better late than never.
EDIT: Added some shadows where there were not shadows before.

Wow. Ruby is plenty kill friendly, isn't she? Kinda reminds ya of how Knux used to be. You know, dropping people into pits and rolling crystal boulders down on them. The whole "I don't like you, get off my land before I shoot you!" approach.

Mighty was, for the longest time, my favorite Sonic character. I don't know why. Maybe because I always pictured him the way I'm now portraying him... a complete asshole.
Hah, anyway, I had alot of practice with him, as his shell makes him one of the more difficult characters to get right and recognizable, let alone badass. I'm all about the badass angle.

Roughly how many pages are you aiming for in this story? It's fantastic to see a Sonic Archie comic series done at your own pace and freedom! The deadlines can really get you in a stir when it comes to remembering why you drew those comics in the first place - and that is to have fun and have a professional product completed at the same time. ^^
Checking out your drawing style (this includes a compilation of techniques such as panneling, lineart etc..) combined with the use of your own dialogue gives the story a nice touch of personality.
Please keep up the awesome and original work Dawn Best, I'll be checking out your new pages soon after you've complete them. *thumbs up*

Ah yes, the actual Hidden Palace was so much nicer than the remake later; I still miss having a complete zone.
Really nice coloring on all of the crystals, only peeve would be where she grabs Espio and it seems like she's staring a the floor. Though I'm not sure where I would look if I were going after someone invisible. O_o; Can't wait for the hopefully-soon-to-be-coming battle. ^-^

I love the way you do the eyes, especially in close ups of Ruby. They convey a great deal and really catch one's attention. It's what really seperates your style from being just another Archie or Fleetway clone. *Devwatches and hopes for more quality comics to come*
