Well this drawing is technically a WIP as it has no colours or markings but all the details are there as far as I can work out.I'm not sure if the fabric coating looks right or the panel lines but they seem okay to me.
It's an Interceptor fighter for the Sieranian Republic Air Force, circa 1937. This is the first production variant with the 850hp inverted-Vee type engine with direct injection and two-stage supercharger with chin mounted radiators.
The current armament consists of a single 20mm cannon mounted in the nose firing through the spinner with 120 rounds and two .3in Machine guns, one in each wing with 250rpg.
Later variants (which I plan on drawing) will have have a lengthened nose with a more powerful engine, cut down rear fuselage decking and full-metal construction.

You should upgrade the .3 inch to .5 inch

yeah, the .5's would do a lot more damage but historically for this time there was no combat experience that showed how little stopping power the .3s have. Seeing as this version of the aircraft is part fabric covered, its a transition aircraft.
I'm thinking of drawing the later version with 4x .5s along with the 20mm cannon and a better engine.

yeah. It will probably end up having a cut down rear fuselage decking too similar to what the Yak 3 went to from the Yak 1.

yeah. Just need to get it done then I can get to work on the Medium bomber (adapted from experience in license building of the Junkers Ju-86 and the Bristol Blenheim)
