Thank you. That weather was just fabulous! I'm getting to like warm better than cold because I'm getting on in years. Glad you like my little gray fellow here. I've got so many squirrel pics, I might post some later on..I don't want to drown people in squirrels!

I don't really do well in temp extremes of either because of health problems. My poor mountain laurel thinks it's spring and has buds on it.

I noticed a few things in bud around here, too. Everything's confused!

He did indeed! They were hopeful that I had some food, I'm sure. They will let you come pretty close (10-15 feet) before they scamper away. I think they have lots of human friends that come around and feed them; I think the county park maintenance crew feeds them, too.

I had one that came at me while I was sitting in the car and he didn't stop, I just closed the door LOL I was a bit scared of him cos he looked kinda rabid

They can be very aggressive! You were right to be a little scared if one came at you. I've heard stories about them tearing screen doors and getting in peoples' houses, jumping on them, etc. They can be totally crazy!

Yep, for some reason, a few squirrels "go bad." They don't necessarily have rabies, but they're just aggro for some reason. Most of them are a bit afraid of humans, and that's as it should be!

Thanks! These old squirrels aren't afraid of anything it seems. They were looking at me, not running away. I think they were hungry and people have been feeding them. Wish I had some corn in my pocket, but I didn't. They were such great posers, they should be paid!

Thanks, I think so, too. They are commonplace around here, but they're still cute as the dickens.
