Yeah, I've never been close enough to one of them to take such awesome photos. In parks they are sometimes getting used to people feeding them, and then they are becoming kind of cheek, but here they are too shy to come anywhere near them.

They are so funny and cute to watch. Just don't let them move into your house! They'll rip the place apart (I know firsthand).

I've heard stories about that. But these guys are pretty happy living in the tree and getting food often. And exercise if the cat decides to chase them. But cat can never catch the squirrel.

They build big leafy nests up near the tops of trees. I used to think they were crows' nests, but I've seen squirrels coming and going from them. They are better off outside; and so are we! Cats are no match for squirrels, though!
