Now that is messed up. I used to have friends like that. People who were really laid back or just normal with you and then when they went around certain other people they had to put on their front and it's like a whole other person.
Don't let the fact that someone was talking about you get you down. And don't let how other people perceive you become your main thought. You don't have to change yourself at all and no one else should try and make you change. This friend of yours sounds like they could do with a little heart to heart. I hope things can get sorted.
