Whew! I'm so glad I'm not the only one! I love to imagine what those peoples' lives were like... Especially the really, really old ones- the people who've been gone for so long that there probably isn't one person left alive who still remembers them... I like to think that whatever kind of person they were in real life, they'd appreciate it that someone decades (or even centuries) beyond their death would still think about them & remember their name.

Whenever I enter a graveyard, I feel as though I can feel the souls of those who rest. It's almost an uneasy feeling, but it's good at the same time. I like to think of their story, and keep them company. I haven't been to the local cemetaries in a long time though. Thanks for reminding me, ST.

This secret kind of makes me want to do the same. I think it'd be interesting to imagine what they're lives would be like and then find out what they're lives really were like.

i cant because the cemetary is at the other side of town and the people around it would most likely call the cops for some teenager loitering in their beautiful cemetary.

That's really sweet. I do that, too. I can spend hours in a graveyard, just thinking about the people buried there and what they might have been like, what they'd think of the world today. I always tell them it's OK.

I do this too ^^ I also do it in old houses - I try and imagine the lives of people who've lived there in the past. It's quite incredible to think of all the stories which have been played out there

I have a good cry when Im at one. Mainly when I see the grave stones of children and baby's that have died

I find that consoling.

I do this too, i read graves and go through the old ones wondering what they would have lived like or who they knew and how it was when they died

"What is the point"
I don't know if this sort of thing requires the type of point that can be given words. It's something you enjoy doing, and is one of the most respectful things I've heard of someone doing in a graveyard. I think it's wonderful.

I wish I knew where our cemetery was. It's funny, supposedly there's a lot of paranormal activity where I live, and I have no clue where the cemetery is. I know where a bunch of creepy angel statues are though.... *is a Doctor Who fan*

XD I go there on purpose sometimes, and have considered photographing them, but, I changed my mind lol

I actually talk to them, creepily enough. Our local cemetery is really beautiful, so I go there sometimes to take photos, and I always talk to the people whose graves I take photos of. Plus, I go and visit my best friend's baby sister, and talk to her for ages.
I don't know why I do it. I guess cause I think they're lonely.
