Name: Mheetu
Name Meaning: Africanized version of “me too”
Status: Pridelands (till runaway), Prince then Co-king of Skyvalley Pride
Relations: Son of Azwel and Hasna, brother of Nala, mate of Penda
Summary: Mheetu is born into a very odd but loving family unit. Along with his loving mother and father, he also has his father's former mate and his half sister also help in raising and caring of him. Although this could have been very confusing for him, Mheetu takes it in his stride, he loves his sister and sees Sarafina as a aunt. He's kind and innocent soul, not very independent or one to take charge, he prefers to let others take the lead. His favorite activity is to tag along with any of his family and when he get's older with Nala and her best friend, Prince Simba. Everything seems perfect and he would never want it to change: too bad he doesn't get a choose.
After Mufasa and Simba's death and Scar's rise to power, Azwel fears what he and the hyenas entail, sheparding his son and few other cubs away to the East, eventually ending up in Grass Walls. In the company of the baboons, Mheetu comes to miss the life and family he leaves behind, eventually attempting to return to the Pridelands but meeting a nasty pair of hyenas. Although his father is able to save him, he leaves with a nasty scar along the back of his neck.
Thanks to his father's efforts, Mheetu comes more out his depression and comes to terms with the facts, though it takes the next few years to do so. By the time they move to his new home to the south, Mheetu is excited at the potential it brings, he and his father naming it Skyvalley after how the land seems to blend out into the horizon. As time passes, he and his new pride settle into their new life, Mheetu becomes close companions with Tojo and Fedha, though he and Tama remain distant. They learn to hunt and eventually fight from Azwel so by the time their into their teens, they are able to survive on their own and ease the burden from Azwel's shoulder's. Mheetu particularly enjoys following his father on rounds of the land and learning how to look after and defend his new home.
When Mheetu is about 16 in age, a rather large pride consisting mostly of subadults enters the land. But rather then be a threat, they see the familiar faces of family and friends escaped from Scar's tyrannical reign. They welcome them to join and settle, which they gratefully accept. With this extension to their pride and the return of his love, Azwel steps down and retires leaving his son to take over. However, Mheetu still doesn't feel experienced enough to rule, asking Ni to become King which he accept so long as they co-rule. Mheetu settles into the position, mostly content for what the future brings, ruling with benevolence and justice that makes him much loved.

Here's my boy Mheetu. I love him to death, he looks so cute. Made some adjustments with his colors and design but nothing too major: just the shape of his hair and face, made him more of a mix of his parents color wise. I think he came out very handsome, it will certainly make him stand out more from the other Mheetus out their.
I'll get more into the other semi canon characters story at a later date along with his lovely mate Penda. For now, enjoy.
