Description As I've drawn some other terrorist leaders in the past, I thought it would be appropriate to draw some more of them (you'll see some more in the future in pixel, digital painting and possibly in ASCII format).

This was my entry to the ASCII compo at the tUM (the Ultimate Meeting) 2007 demoparty held at the end of last year and it placed #2. Draw with JavE. I first tried to make a picture similar to the famous one of Che Guevara, but it didn't really work out.

P.S. If you take offense in the concept, go ahead and comment, but do keep in mind that I keep a file of the most idiotic comments I see on the Internet and if you make a fool out of yourself you might end up published there.

This is brilliant. I don't have anything else to say really, cause its just too good. All I can say is that it makes me like you as a person. And I laughed a lot.

You might like some of our political haiku that we have been writing recently (me and my partner write them together). Though it was time haiku got socially conscious (not that I don't like traditional haiku - I write that too - but I seldom see haiku with a political bent).

I think it's a wonderful portrait. I'm also reminded of a quote which I've seen a bit recently, and while it's an oldie, it remains a goodie in terms of validity.

"In an age of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act." George Orwell.

I hope the planet can withstand my country's (U.S.) insane drive to totalitarianism/capitalism for all.

Also, I would like to sincerely apologize to everyone not from the U.S., for my country's insanity, and for its lethality. I'm sorry. Really. The way it's set up right now is not a system truly free people choose, and there are two fundamental reasons why no one should expect sanity anytime soon from the U.S., no matter who gets "elected" in November.
1. Those with money (power) are too busy having fun, and being concerned about how they'd lose their money (and/or power) if they did the right thing.
2. Those without money (power) are too busy diverting themselves from our utter helplessness in the face of a police state so effective, few people under 30 have the slightest clue that they are living in a police state...a lethal one.

My apologies.

Diamondie, it's been a while since I've seen you. Hope you've been well! Lots of love to you, angel. Nice pic, by the way.

Nice to hear from you! I'm glad you liked the picture. I don't think you need to apologize for your country - no matter what some other Americans would like to think, you are not your country and you're not responsible for any madness its rulers are involved with. I don't support the idea of "nations" anyway.

It's nice to hear from you hearing from me!

And while I know I'm not my country, nor its power-addicted rulers killers, there are some who believe that if one knows about an evil, and does not try to stop the evil, that makes them just as guilty as those doing the evil.

So, by extension, because I know that we're constantly lying and killing to keep those lies from cropping up, I'm somehow supposed to stop it, even though I have no money, no power, no network, no proof; keeping in mind that the scientist who was about to testify in court about his proof about knowing that Tony Blair knew the entire Iraq war was a sham, got his head accidentally shot off just before the trial! "Oops! No proof for you! No proof for the general world! Chalk another victory up to assassins, so beautifully portrayed in Hollywood movies!"

I'm just as guilty as our government in the murder of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, AND just as guilty as our government in the tampering with the AIDS virus and rereleasing it back into the continent of Africa, just because I've done extensive reading and happened to meet some lady who told me about her research on an Army base with the AIDS virus. (Nothing specific...just that it had happened, and that she didn't know if she would ever be forgiven for what she'd done, it was so massive. And now, what, 40%, 50% of the continent has AIDS, or is likely to get it? Go, U.S.! Go, U.S.!)

I'm just as guilty, just because I know we did it, and haven't brought our entire corrupt, evil police state to justice.

*sigh*

Man. This is why I try to stick to poetry and music.

By the way, wish us (the United States), luck. I wouldn't put it past my "so-called" countrymen to do something on the order of a nuclear attack on ourselves, so as to justify war with either Iran or some other Middle Eastern country which is outlined by guys in the Project for a New American Century (aka: PNAC). Have you ever heard of it? It's a cute, fuzzy little brain trust which decided that the only really acceptable future would be an American, worldwide, military dicatorship. One of the first countries chosen back then (because this was all decided BEFORE 9/11), to declare war on was Iraq, but there wasn't anything at the time to justify it. What was called for, to bring the mindset of the people around to it, was "another Pearl Harbor".

You know. Pearl Harbor. When part of the attack was made up of suicide pilots attacking American targets.
Remember when Cond. Rice said that they (U.S. government) was taken by such surprise was because no attack like that had occurred within anyone's memory? Heehee. Her history's not that great, eh?

Anyway, PNAC is the group dear old Bushie let handle things once he was in there. A group which wanted war with Iraq no matter the cost. That was to be only the first domino.

However...we're about due for another attack, so that us scared little chickens can demand a stronger ruler, with more civil liberties taken away. I just think it'll be nuclear, because then they can go for Iran.

Oh well.

Good luck. I'm thinking that maybe, in a couple hundred years, when mankind has killed everything on the planet, including ourselves, maybe, nature will get a chance to start over, and maybe if a race emerges, maybe they will use intelligence, not fear, to run the show.

I'm sort of sick of bullies with badges.

The other deviation you referred to does not show. It produces a 404 error (not found) ... only the thumbnail seems to work.

I think you show a bit too much hair on the right side (from a viewers point of view) It makes the head looking a bit to wide I think. Overall nice though.

How utterly surprising that DA doesn't work! No problems there, if I make a bug report it might be fixed by 2012 or so.

IMO the head isn't too wide, looking at my reference photo the proportions don't seem to be off in any way.
