This is quite gory.I wonder if when things WERE right it was better or worse.
I am not really familiar with digital art so do not know what is the human contribution and what is the technology part in making of a piece.But the choice of colours, symbols and the light and shadow are quite effective in creating the atmosphere.I particulary like the red streaks on the cat.

In digital art, the artist is still responsible for thier own lines, shading, and execution in general. There is facilitation with blending generally, and color can be changed,played with considerably....llighting can just be "added" ...but I paint my own...I place the marks on the canvas...the computer doesnt do it for me. My most comonly used digtal tools are a round painrbrush , and airbrush....in this case I use the charcol tool...which mimics the qualities of charcol...but not the mess.
As far as things "generated" by a computer...that's possible...and usually has bad results.

Are those charms of some sort hanging across the doorway? It seems as though this Cat is trying to use magic to set things right and it doesn't appear to be working. This is warm and beautiful, and sad all at once.
