Thanks...and yes, I have found if I'm using a pencil...my work is alot more creative...I think because I'm not THINKING...I'm comfortable physically and just doodling while on the phone or whatever.
As far as texture...I love to scribble.

I like this a lot. I like the earthtones -- gives it a 1930s look -- perhaps an abstract expressionist in Berlin? The imagination takes flight!

Very beautiful work... I really love the colors and how they blend so nicely together... it reminds me of two paintings that I really love because of a similar color tone and how it blends together, one by Duchamp and the other by Picasso. I don't recall the titles though.
