1333 = a hero who is a Marine who is a pioneer
1999 = Hero, Alien, Mechanoid, on the ground, 6 Legs or Limbs = a Giant Mechanical Version of Spider-Man

Great pose and coloring is also awesome along side with shading and lighting

The Michael Bay designsΒ are a mixed bag for me.Β I like how they tried to make them realistic but the oneΒ thing that bothers meΒ is that they don't resemble their cartoon counterparts. If they ever reboot the franchise, I want to see designs like this in future movies.

Bay had the right idea; he just needed to clean up his Transformers appearance to make it less cluttered (some of the TF, you couldn't really make out their faces...even at close range!) Instead of overly-complex actuated 'eyes' , just a lit sensor with a tracking light for a 'pupil' would've sufficed, like in TF Prime. Also losing some of the excessΒ 'machinery' and making the 'bots transform configurations appear more G1 would've helped too. IMHO, Casting Peter Cullen as originalΒ O.P. was what saved TF.

because it was the first live action transformers movie, they have to look realistic otherwise it'll just be crap. The thing that make Optimus who he is is the voice actor, got him then it doesn't matter what he look like

Even though this is old, I can explain. You see, with every new incarnation, the personalities of all Transformers unlike the personalities of Marvel and DC superheroes go through for the most part, very drastic shifts and thus you're left with very different interpretations of the character. For example, Optimus Prime in G1 is of course a calm, caring bot who will get stern when he needs to but ultimately he doesn't resort to abuse. Optimus in RiD, the series from 2001 is... well... kind of a dick. I mean he's certainly stoic but he really is more of a dick. In Animated he was less experienced and far more playful at times and in the case of the Bay films, while yes Optimus has gotten murderous at times, the point of view behind this interpretation is that this is a hardened, grizzled version of Prime in that while he's soft and sweet to his friends, he has fought in the war for so long that by this point he believes the Decepticons to be beyond reason so for him, it's either kill or be killed which makes sense given that's more in line with real life. You're not just going to keep offering the enemy a chance to surrender even as they keep trying to kill you, you're eventually going to see they're beyond reason and just keep fighting.

The G1 colours are WAAAAY better than the 'flame job' M. Bay gave him; Using Peter Cullen as his voice really made the Movie take off

I like that version of Prime. takes the movie and adds a little classic to it.
