It is something to note that the basic concept behind 'acrobatics' mirrors itself in her pokehuman form in which she is pretty acrobatic, flexible, and light on her feet.

Not gonna lie, Elle is pretty good and whipping up a good juice from a variety of berry combinations. In truth, she finds it really fun making random concoctions with the various berries people bring in as well as making it taste good for their pokemon. As for interning, she is mostly interested in the study of fossils, stones and history, and is thus curious about the current research going on about mega stones. She managed to luck out in applications and is the occasional intern at the Lab doing research and such.

5'3" and packed with cheerful energy, Elle always has some kind of smile on her face. Sporting a side ponytail with random golden streaks as well as a golden feather in her hair and seemingly permanent reddened cheeks, her most distinguishing if not odd trait is that her eyes seem to always be closed, but rather she is merely making an exaggerated relaxed face and 'smiling' eyes. Her expression only changes when the situation calls for it or when she's being completely serious, but that normally means something is off or wrong. When returning to a regular expression in which her eyes are more open, they appear to always be droopy, often giving off the impression that she's either tired or zoning out. It is also of interest to note that the tips of her eyelashes are gold much like the streaks in her hair.

To say Elle is 'cheerful' is an understatement. She falls more along the lines of 'hyperactive', seemingly filled with endless energy in both her actions and the way she speaks. Tending to speak extremely fast or, if she does speak slow, with drawled out and/or emphasis on certain vowels, it isn't uncommon for people asking her to repeat herself. With an ever constant smile and an aura that makes it easy for people to approach and conversate with her, Elle is very sociable, not afraid to initiate conversation even if it is kind of awkward to do so. Yes, she is that 'icebreaker' kind of girl. In truth, she just doesn't want anyone to feel left out or feel shy, so she takes the dive for starting something up.

Despite her bubbly demeanor that may or may not be seen as 'ditzy', Elle is actually quite intelligent if not clever, her expression almost always giving her the advantage of being underestimated. One could even say that it doubles as her 'pokerface', and also reveals a bit of a mischeivous side of her, as she likes playing the game of 'is this the truth or a lie' with people. Having a great interest in science, or more specifically history, Elle always enjoys learning something new and reading a good book. However, as for her own theories, beliefs and ideals, she'll immediately rank hers above those of others, even if it has more merit than her own.

The smiles she wears is more of something to ensure others that she is okay and to not worry about her, as well as trick herself into believing that she's okay and everything is going to work out. One might say that it is somewhat of a 'mask' to hide her inner feelings, and, despite that being true to an extent, she truly does take on a positive outlook on life, and does her best to make others do so as well.

And even under all of this, she is a deeply caring and helpful person, particularly having a soft spot towards young children and the elderly due to her upbringing. She'll be that girl holding the door open for people, even when the last person is still at that awkwardly long distance away, or reaching for something that someone else can't reach.

History:

Not really one to like talking about her past, Elle actually suffers from amnesia. The only thing she remembers from her young days as a fletchling was that she got separated from her family during a storm and had (and still has) this deep, painful feeling of being 'lost'. The next thing she knew, she woke up in the home of a kind, old researcher who worked at the Fossil Lab in Ambrette Town. More than a little frightened, the young Elle very nearly set fire to the elderly woman, something that Elle still deeply regrets to this day, despite already being forgiven long ago.

Treating her injuries and nursing her until she was well, the researcher, who eventually introduced herself as Maia, but was generally always referred to as the 'Professor', offered Elle to stay with her, able to come and go as she pleases, or to leave all together. Having no memory of where she came from or who she was forgetting, she decided to stay with the kind woman and her family. In doing so, Elle often accompanied the woman to the research lab as well as various expeditions to various towns and/or regions in search of fossils or to visit archeological sites, developing an interest in the research and history itself. During these travels, she'd often help in fending off wild pokemon or occasional friendly battles, if not to ward off thieves who sought the fossils that were being studied. It was also thanks to the Professor during this time that she picked up the habit of speaking rapidly when talking about favored topics, remaining positive even if the research proved to have no success or was at a stand still, and to overall be happy.

When at their home in Ambrette, she'd help watch over Maia's grandchildren by playing with them, if not acting as if she was one of them, judging by the way Maia treated her. In fact, Elle spent so much time with the Professor that she was the first to notice that something was wrong. It wasn't too serious, but due to her age, Maia became bed-ridden in her home. That didn't necessarily keep her from continuing to conduct research, but it did limit her actions. Elle, ever faithful in helping her friend when necessary, started to get restless, missing the times they would travel and do research, but she was adamant about not leaving the side of the woman who had done so much for her. Inversely, Maia had always noted that something was wrong with Elle, in that perhaps she was subconciously looking for someone, perhaps her family.

After much convincing, Maia managed to get Elle to be okay with going off on her own to satiate her desire to research and learn what Maia herself couldn't teach, as well as search for whatever she's been looking for. She also ensured Elle that she'd be fine, as well as reminded her to come and visit sometimes. With that, Elle, now a talonflame, flew off on her own. It was during her travels that she ran into a pokemon who was handing out the mysterious Dittech that she had heard various rumors about amongst other pokemon, and decided to try it out. It was more of a research related impulse, due to being able to conduct studies as well as access more things as a human rather than a pokemon. She headed towards Lumiose, due to it being the region capital and the endless possibilities there. Perhaps it was there, that she'd find whatever she felt was missing and to fill in the feeling of being lost, now even greater due to leaving the Professor behind in Ambrette.

Flying through the woods, a young fletchling desperately tried to keep up with unseen shadows through the pouring rain. Flashes of lightning would temporarily blind her vision as booms of distant thunder would disrupt her normal wing beat pattern, causing fault in her flight. It didn't exactly help that the strong gusts of wind kept changing direction as she struggled to keep her balance. She heard the creak and groan of the branch snapping before she saw it, looking up just in time to see it come slamming into her face. "Hey..Hang in there....!, Stay with us--.....!!!" Her vision turned blurry as she felt herself starting to plummet into the river below. Cold. It was so cold. And so dark.

Bolting upright in her bed, Elle found herself breathing heavily and covered in a thin layer of cold sweat. She wasn't drowning in the river. She wasn't in the middle of a storm, save for the downpour that was currently going on outside. She was safe. Bringing a hand to her head, she winced at the memory of the pain from the branch. That same dream again....no....that same memory. Closing her eyes again, she desperately tried to remember, to recover the fragments that were lost. But it was no good. She was always greeted with a dense fog when trying to go to the moments before that scene, and even that memory alone was foggy. All she remembered were distant voices. Upon researching what might have happened to her, she had discovered that her time in the cold river below as well as the blow to the head had given her an amnesia of sorts.

It pained her deeply. All this time and she still couldn't remember a thing. At first, she wasn't bothered by it. It couldn't have been anything important if she hadn't remembered it by now, right? In fact, it shouldn't even matter. She was probably forgotton anyway. But....if she had to be completely honest with herself, it was the main source of her nightmares and sense of emptiness. Bringing her knees to her chest and hugging them tightly, she felt that feeling once more. Where had she come from? Did she have family? Were they alive? Who was she really? These were the questions that plagued her every night...well, aside from the other questions about the universe and theories about things and whatnot. After all, it was only natural that a million and one questions race through her head the moment she decides to sleep.

Living with the Professor had of course, temporarily filled this emptiness, being apart of a family and being happy. She was so happy. But it was there that she began to have thoughts of her own seemingly non-existant family. If she had to pick a word to describe her emotion, she supposed it would have to be lost.

The sound of her alarm going off jolted her out of her moment of anxiety. Waking up before her alarm had become somewhat of a routine whenever it happened to be raining. Shaking her head and slapping her cheeks gently to wake up, she got out of bed and prepared to go to work. She needed to escape these depressing thoughts anyway; they were too much to bear, and it was far too unlike her to be acting that way. It was at this moment that she remembered the Professor's parting words.

"Elle, just do whatever makes you happy. Even if you don't find what or who you're looking for, just remember that you're here and you exist. Not knowing that information doesn't make you a nobody Elle, so keep your head held high, put on a smile--where is it, come on...there it is! Haha!-- and take on the world, giving it your all!"
