Didn't have much inspiration lately so it took me way to long to finish this imo. But well, now it is done i can say that i like it. Tried a different view then normal. Hope you like it. favs appreciated, good comments even more

however, i'm not sure the perspective is right on the planet rings - to me they look to be too thin round the sides of the planet compared to the front. This is just my opinion... the aork is truely superb!!

Nice impact, I suspect that in an airless environment there'd be significantly less smoke and fire than if there was lots of nasty reactive oxygen floating around, so this looks good...

Awesome per total. Perfectly done nebula... the rusty impression is great...
The meteor hitting the planet/moon below though doesn't look too good...

Great work, dude. You really nailed it. Most people are always forgetting that space is dark and make their scenes ridiculously bright, but I like how you handled this, especially the dust at the top of the image.
I like the impact to a degree; the dust-shockwave is great and well done, but maybe the impacting comet or whatever it is could fragment a little, itself? It looks a little too... intact to be impacting and throwing up debris and making a dust-shockwave.
But great image, dude, a favorite definitely.

The idea of dust coming out of the impact on a moon is simply and absolutely correct
The realization is great as usual, I would have changed the colours of the debris maybe...darker, less light and a bit of flame trail? Dunno...great work anyhow

I love the contrast! The smoke around the impact crator is great. Yet the impact itself, imho, is missing a bit more 'explosion'. :]

I really like how you bring us really close to the impact. I also agree with Alyn, the smoke is incredibly nice, and the feeling of 3D is definitly there.
The nebula at the top is also well done, but the planet ring may appear a little uniform. But anyway, that's just really about picking on an already great image.

I think the piece is intensly good up until that impact which looks reaally weird, I think it looks like the comet is just drifting into that whole, not even impacting or anything.
